Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis can occur anywhere in the spine. By the time we reach age 50 many of us have degenerative changes in the spine.  Spinal stenosis can occur at any age.  Often patients with a history of prior physical trauma in a certain area(s) and can develop inflammation and lead to degeneration.  Instability of the spine with a spondylolisthesis is when one of the spinal bones moves forward or backward causing stenosis.  Pain, numbness, tingling, and various other symptoms are very common with spinal stenosis.
