The La Starza Wellness Difference to get you back in the game

Using science and research, corrective care gets to the source of your pain and then supports your body to promote long term sustained changes.

At your first appointment, we will do a complete case history and examination. Then, digital X-rays will be taken. During your second visit, we’ll show you what’s WORKING and what we found. We will put your examination and x-ray results together and let you know how we can help you.

The Gonstead technique uses an instrument called a nervascope. This tool provides an accurate “blue print” as we measure the skin temperature of the spine.

Skin temperature is regulated by your autonomic nervous system. This instrument looks for changes in skin temperature to show us the specific location of your problem(s). We use this specific tool to take all the guesswork out of your care. It guides Dr. La Starza’s corrective chiropractic care strategy and makes every adjustment precise and specific.

As you progress, Dr. La Starza will periodically scan your spine and nerve system. If you have no blockages in your spine, these temperature readings should be consistent. This is one way we measure your progress and continue to heal throughout your care plan.

A very popular “low force” chiropractic technique that uses a handheld spring-loaded tool that delivers a consistent low-force, high-speed adjustment with “no popping.”

We will test your range of motion, your leg lengths, and then decide what area to adjust. It is also a great tool for adjusting knees, shoulders, hips, wrist, elbows, TMJ, and many other joints in the body.

The Impulse is faster than manual chiropractic adjustments. This gentle adjustment is fast so body doesn’t tighten up and resist the adjustment like many traditional chiropractic styles.

This instrument had 3 different force settings to accommodate people of all shapes and sizes. The controlled low-force adjustment of the Impulse makes treatments comfortable.

Many years of chiropractic research have gone into this instrument as it creates gentle and specific adjustments that are effective for patients of all ages.

Chiropractic Biophysics is a way of saying there is an ideal, achievable structure for the human spine.

CBP is a technique that focuses on an ideal spinal model. A specific motion x-ray the spine address all your spinal curves to see if they are in the correct place. Then the x-ray will see what is moving and what is not moving.

Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) uses a system of adjustments, traction, and rehabilitation exercises designed to move your spine from its misaligned position to an aligned spine.

Corrective Chiropractic Care is a totally different approach compared to many other styles of chiropractic techniques. Dr. La Starza is a Corrective Care Chiropractor in Merritt Island and wants you to get back to what you love to do in life. A Corrective Care Chiropractor evaluates the whole person for not only trauma and pathology but overall function.
